NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- J.P. Morgan Asset Management today announced it has named James Peagam head of the firm's institutional business in North America.
In this capacity, Mr. Peagam will be responsible for overseeing institutional distribution strategy, sales and client services and the region's team of dedicated client facing professionals. Mr. Peagam will also continue his duties as Global Head of Insurance Solutions. He will remain based in the firm's New York headquarters and will now report to George Gatch, CEO of Global Funds and Institutional, J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Mr. Peagam joined the firm in 2014 as European Head of Global Insurance Solutions and later expanded his role to lead the business globally. Prior to J.P. Morgan Asset Management, he was the Head of EMEA Sales Strategy for BlackRock's Financial Institutions Group and held positions in banking.
