Delta Expands Austin, Adds Medford, Oregon Service from Seattle

SEATTLE, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) will add a second daily nonstop flight from Seattle to Austin, Texas, beginning Oct. 1, 2017. Building off the strong results from its service that launched on June 12, Delta will expand its schedule to provide the only morning departure from Seattle.

Additionally, Delta will add daily nonstop service from Seattle to Medford, Oregon, beginning Oct. 1, 2017. Medford is Delta's ninth Pacific Northwest destination from Seattle and complements recently added service to Eugene and Redmond, Oregon, giving customers access to the airline's growing network from Seattle.

Delta will offer one daily flight between Seattle and Medford, operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines using 76-seat, two-class E-75s equipped with First Class and Comfort+ seating as well as onboard Wi-Fi.

Delta has added seven daily year-round destinations from Seattle since July 2016, including: Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; Eugene, Oregon; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Chicago, Illinois; Redmond, Oregon; and Raleigh, North Carolina. Service to Lihue, Hawaii will begin in December 2017. In addition to the new destinations, Delta is expanding service to existing destinations from Seattle with a second daily flight to Boston and Orlando, a fifth daily flight to Orange County and San Diego, and an eighth daily flight to Portland.
