In this role, Brooks will lead the company's legal, compliance, contracts and procurement functions, as well as drive the company's corporate development efforts to accelerate growth through M&A and other strategic transactions.
Brooks comes to Dovel from Engility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:EGL), where he most recently served as Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Deputy General Counsel. In this role he successfully led multiple transactions including Engility's sale to Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAIC), valued at over $2 billion, as well as the acquisitions of TASC, Inc. and Dynamics Research Corporation. Brooks also oversaw Engility's compliance, public company reporting and governance functions, and served as a board member of Forfeiture Support Associates, a joint venture of Engility and AECOM focused on the Federal law enforcement market.
