ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgia native and funnyman Bruce Bruce will perform in the Starz original stand-up comedy series "Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-up" on Wednesday, July 16 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Bruce Bruce's television credits include HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," BET's "Comic View" and "Comedy Central Presents." From 2000 to 2002, Bruce Bruce was the front man on BET's 10th Anniversary "Comic View" receiving the highest ratings as host of that show. Author of the book "Baby James Brown" and spokesperson for Popeye's Chicken and Biscuit, Bruce Bruce has also appeared in the film Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector and had a cameo role in the film Idlewild. In addition Bruce Bruce has been seen in multiple music videos such as the 1996 summer hit "Come on Ride the Train (Ride It)," Outkast's music video "So Fresh, So Clean" and other music videos featuring Ludacris and the Ying Yang Twins.

"Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-up" is executive produced by one of America's most popular actor/comedians, Martin Lawrence.
