Green Dot extends contract with Walmart

Green Dot Corp. (NYSE: GDOT) extended its contract with Walmart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) to continue serving as the program manager and issuing bank for the Walmart MoneyCard suite of prepaid reload able debit card products. Shares of Green Dot leaped $5.16 to $20.47 while Walmart stock eased 28 cents to $72.51.
