This kit is a special use kit designed to be small and fill a specific need in concert with more general-purpose first aid gear.

The inclusion of the Advanced Clotting Bandage adds an additional option for controlling blood loss in a serious emergency. Application of the bandage at the site of the injury accelerates the natural clotting process and stops the flow of blood. The other component of the kit, the SWAT-T (Stretch Wrap And Tuck - Tactical) Tourniquet, is designed to deploy quickly and easily, fitting high into the groin or armpit areas to clamp down arterial blood flow and stop blood loss. Also included in the kit are antiseptic gloves, gauze, antiseptic wipes and medical tape. The entire kit is ten (10) ounces in weight and is intended to support a more general use first aid kit.
