Gordy’s Supermarket Joins Grocery Shopping Network

Grocery Shopping Network is pleased to announce the addition of Gordy’s Inc., the longest locally owned and operated store in the Chippewa Valley area of Wisconsin. Serving the community for over 40 years, Gordy’s operates 6 locations in Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Cornell, as well as Ladysmith and has been expanding their footprint into the surrounding communities.

“It’s great to add an independent progressive grocer who continues to stay ahead of the curve in development and expansion,” said Andy Robinson, CEO Grocery Shopping Network. “We are pleased to re-launch Gordy’ website and can’t wait to see how local Chippewa Valley shoppers utilize the new platform!”

Grocery Shopping Network and Gordy’s have launched a new Gordy’s County Market website for grocery shoppers who use the website to plan trips to the store. Grocery Shopping Network offers its partners the ability to merchandise the entire store outside of the weekly flyer. This means that consumers could potentially shop every item in the store and find out if it’s on sale this week. The company also offers a recipe database of over 60,000 recipes with dietary information, recipe videos, coupons including manufacturer, wine pairings, email campaigns, shopping lists, and much more.

The changes are now available to consumers. With this new technology, shoppers will be able to save much more money and time in one place at www.gordyscountymarket.net. Gordy’s deals will also be available on the company’s iPhone app called Ucook which shows shoppers deals and recipes from the local website. It will also give Gordy’s clientele access to all the new upgrades from Grocery Shopping Network including new mobile improvements.

About Gordy’s Inc.:
Gordy’s County Market was established in 1966 on the south side of Chippewa Falls, WI. by Gordy and Donna Mae Schafer. The Schafer Family wanted to meet the grocery needs of the people of the Chippewa Valley with fresh products, low prices, and, of course, friendly service. He succeeded! Forty plus years later, Gordy’s County Market has six locations, four in the immediate Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire area, and stores in both Cornell and Ladysmith, WI. To date, Gordy’s County Market remains the longest locally owned and operated grocery store in the Chippewa Valley.
