RevolutionTruth Releasing Video Project in Defense of WikiLeaks

Portland, Oregon - As WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange faces possible extradition to Sweden at the conclusion of his London extradition hearing this week, RevolutionTruth has released a teaser for its upcoming short film. This people-powered, people-produced film will feature citizens speaking out in defense of Assange and WikiLeaks. Film-maker and political commentator Michael Moore has endorsed RevolutionTruth and appears in the film.

Project RevolutionTruth has received and compiled video clips from individuals in over thirty countries including Egypt, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, and the U.S. The diverse compilation of clips represents a vibrant global citizenry uniting to read “An Open Letter to the U.S. Government.” According to RevolutionTruth Creator and Producer Tangerine Bolen, the letter is intended as a “reasonable, intelligent, respectful, and defensible call to the U.S. Government” to cease its persecution of Assange, and uphold and restore our most basic political freedoms. RevolutionTruth provides a unique platform empowering individuals who feel strongly about free speech and transparency to make their thoughts and feelings known to a broad audience within a creative and professional framework.

The recently launched RevolutionTruth website - www.revolutiontruth.org - hosts a short teaser for the film with a call to the global community to join this growing movement. It invites RevolutionTruth participants to sign the open letter and participate in additional interactive elements of the website.
