SXSW Concerts Streamed Live in HD from the Amazon Cloud

XI Media Productions and Kulabyte announced that the companies are jointly producing SXSW Music Festival concerts using the power of Kulabyte’s XStreamLive video encoders and its newest offering Hyperstream; cloud-based video transcoding technology that enables XI Media to stream the events with significantly less equipment and bandwidth while providing a dynamic viewing experience on mobile devices, desktops, laptops, large screen TVs and concert displays.

XI Media is producing concerts for Atlantic Records, Mountain Dew’s Green Label Sound, MySpace, NPR and Rolling Stone, which showcase many bands from venues including: Fader Fort, La Zona Rosa, Stubbs, The Parish, Pitchfork, and Auditorium Shores.
