Tony Endelman Continues to Champion Men’s Work and Personal Reinvention

You’ve probably never heard of Tony Endelman. He’s never been on TikTok. He doesn’t have a YouTube channel. And he primarily uses his Instagram account as “a repository for pictures of his dog.” But Endelman is a successful author and transformational life coach, doing powerful work to combat the ever-growing problem of loneliness and disconnection among men.

Around the world, men are lonelier and more depressed than ever before. Many do have anyone to turn to during a time of crisis. They suffer in silence as they live lives that are misaligned with who they truly are.

“Too many men are struggling,” laments Endelman. “Many are looking for a quick fix, but there really is no such thing. At this point, I’ve worked with many hundreds of men. And yes, they need practical strategies they can implement into their lives. But the one thing that truly helps them transform is having a tribe. Men need brotherhood. They need friendship and fraternity. They need camaraderie with other men.”

In his coaching business, Endelman enables men to cultivate relationships and redefine their purpose by providing a safe space in which they can be vulnerable. He provides a way for men to gather so they can heal, grow, and challenge each other in meaningful ways.

Endelman never intended to become a coach. His earliest dream was to work in comedy. He then had a sinuous, 15-year career in advertising and marketing. But after a series of tragic events – including the sudden loss of his father - Endelman embarked on a journey of profound self-discovery.

“I was quite unhappy,” recalls Endelman. “And it got worse after I lost my dad. I really started questioning everything. I realized that I could stay just where I was and probably be miserable for the rest of my life. Or I could choose to make some real changes. I chose to make changes and reinvent my entire life.”

That reinvention didn’t happen overnight. Endelman first decided to leave his hometown and move to a new city, where he took another job in advertising. In his free time, he immersed himself in psychology, philosophy, and self-help. That’s when he discovered coaching and worked to become professionally certified.

Endelman kept a day job while building his coaching business on the side. Not until his 37th birthday did he decide to take the leap into full-time coaching and entrepreneurship – an excellent indicator that it’s never too late to go after what you really want.

“My day job was terribly unfulfilling. Still, quitting was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. But I had to ask myself what I found scarier: Taking a chance on myself…or sitting in a cubicle for the rest of my life.”

Today, Endelman has been coaching men for nearly a decade and insists on giving credit where credit is due. He frequently acknowledges his friend and mentor, Dr. Robert Glover, who is a pioneer in men’s self-improvement and the author of the groundbreaking No More Mr. Nice Guy. In 2023, Endelman released THE BIG STICK: Collected and Applied Wisdom from the Teachings of Dr. Robert Glover, a now bestselling book that encapsulates over 40 years of wisdom from Dr. Glover.

Through his one-on-one coaching, group programs, and online courses, Endelman helps men transform their lives from the inside out. He is a fully certified transformational life coach and relationship coach and is certified in the psychology of happiness.

Additionally, Endelman’s quirky brand of self-help has been featured in publications like The Huffington Post, YAHOO!, Lifehack, MSN, Thought Catalog, Tiny Buddha, and The Good Men Project.

Endelman was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and now resides in New Orleans, where he continues his mission of assisting men to redefine their lives and find inner peace.

“I found coaching when I was in a terribly dark place,” shares Endelman. “Or maybe coaching found me. Whatever the case, once others started asking me how I’d transformed my own life, I started to develop a passion for helping them do the same. I just hope I’m making a positive impact in the world, if even my own small way.”
