Homeowners with solar panels save money and earn monthly bill credits for generating extra energy

This summer has been one for the record books, but the sun will keep on shining in Texas for months to come. To help Texans with solar panels take advantage of this abundant resource, Direct Energy launched the Direct Solar Unlimited electricity plan.

The Direct Solar Unlimited electricity plan is for solar panel owners and includes a locked-in fixed energy rate for the length of the contract term. Additionally, customers on this plan are eligible to receive unlimited monthly bill credits at an attractive rate for extra energy generated by the customer’s solar system that the household does not consume.
