Displaced families to discuss potential landlord negligence in fire

Victims of the three-alarm apartment fire that displaced hundreds of residents of the Reserve at LaVista Walk will gather on Saturday, November 18th, to brief the community about the alleged negligent safety record of the building's commercial landlord, whose portfolio includes many other multi-dwelling properties across Atlanta.

"It's too late for the hundreds of us who called the Reserve home, but we hope to save tenants in my landlord's other properties the anguish of watching their home burn and knowing that their landlord failed in their most important duty to maintain a safe property," remarked fire victim Alyssa Greene, who will speak Saturday.
