FusionLayer, a pioneer in network automation and digital infrastructure intelligence, today announced the results of an EMA Impact Brief highlighting the potential of FusionLayer Xverse to transform edge cloud management.
The report illustrates how Xverse can automate and secure the provisioning, deployment, and management of distributed edge environments. Delivered as a hosted dedicated service, Xverse provides zero-touch orchestration to the edge over the public Internet, simplifying operations and enhancing security while maintaining customer data isolation.
As organizations expand their use of edge computing for AI, IoT, OT, and private 5G, many still depend on immature and manual processes. According to Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), Xverse helps address this gap with a vendor-agnostic platform that operates across different technologies and environments.
“The EMA report confirms our vision for Xverse as a game-changer in edge cloud management,” said Juha Holkkola, CEO of FusionLayer. “Many organizations face difficulties in managing distributed edge sites. Xverse simplifies this with a zero-touch solution that automates provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management. It also establishes the groundwork for AI factories — digital infrastructures where edge, cloud, and AI workloads operate seamlessly together.”
Key Findings from the EMA Impact Brief
- Closes the Edge Orchestration Gap: Xverse automates remote onboarding and provisioning, cutting deployment times from weeks to minutes.
- Improves Security: Dedicated secure ports enable private connectivity to the edge, reducing reliance on the public internet and lowering the need for on-site visits.
- Supports Any Vendor: Xverse works across multiple technology stacks, avoiding vendor lock-in.
- Adds AI-Driven Lifecycle Management: Xverse continuously monitors edge services and uses AI to optimize performance and reliability.
- Boosts Efficiency and Reduces Costs: By automating routine tasks and providing full visibility, Xverse enables operations teams to manage edge infrastructure at scale.
EMA states that “FusionLayer’s vendor-agnostic approach with Xverse represents a major step forward in managing distributed edge nodes. Organizations investing in AI, private 5G, OT, IoT, and cloud application portability will benefit from such a solution.”
FusionLayer is currently running proof-of-concept trials with strategic customers and plans to make Xverse generally available later this year.
