HealthTap joins as the first independent telehealth primary care provider option available on LillyDirect®, offering patients living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes access to longitudinal primary care through its national medical group.

HealthTap, a leading virtual healthcare provider delivering accessible, high-quality virtual primary care, today announced it will be listed as the latest independent care provider option on Eli Lilly and Company’s digital healthcare platform, LillyDirect® , expanding access to primary care-driven diabetes management. With this news, HealthTap becomes the first primary care telehealth practice accessible via LillyDirect®.

This option gives patients living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as other patients with other chronic conditions, an easy way to establish a long-term relationship with a primary care physician of their choice through virtual care.

Highly experienced, board-certified primary care physicians on HealthTap provide ongoing, holistic care for chronic conditions like diabetes. New patients can typically book a 30-minute appointment in days – often for the same day – and continue seeing the same doctor over time, with the ability to message them directly between visits for consistent, personalized support. While patients may come to HealthTap directly from the LillyDirect® website, doctors on HealthTap will not know whether a patient came from LillyDirect® or registered directly on HealthTap.
