Tucker’s Farm Corporation Subsidiary, Wonder Franchises, Announces Acquisition of U.S. Soccer 5, a Leading Soccer Facility Brand

Tucker’s Farm Corporation (“Tucker’s Farm” or “the Farm”), a value-oriented investment holding vehicle, today announced the acquisition of Soccer 5 Franchise LLC (“Soccer 5”), a leading small-sided soccer brand. The acquisition was completed via the Farm’s franchisor platform Wonder Franchises (“Wonder”). Founded in 2010 by Alan & Scott Georgeson, Soccer 5 designs, builds, and operates soccer facilities for all ages and skill levels. The Georgesons will retain meaningful ownership in the business and will continue as key members of the leadership team.

In 2023, Tucker’s Farm launched Wonder, a franchise and multi-site focused holding vehicle, with committed, long-term equity capital. Wonder is dedicated to partnering with, and acquiring, emerging and mid-size brands with the goal of growing them over the long-term. Wonder’s priority is to be a great partner to sellers and a responsible steward for world-class brands and related assets.

Adam Lewin, CEO of Wonder Franchises, remarked:

“We are thrilled to invest in Soccer 5 and partner with the Georgeson family and their team to bring small-sided soccer to more communities across the U.S. Interest in soccer continues to grow in the U.S. and, with the World Cup coming to North America in 2026, we think that will only accelerate. What drew us to Soccer 5 was not only the strength of its business model but also the enthusiasm of its players and passion for community. From kids kicking their first ball to adults playing under the lights after work, Soccer 5’s offerings resonate with a broad group. We’re very excited to work with the Georgesons to grow both the corporate-unit footprint, as well as the franchise system.”

This is the sixth transaction for Tucker’s Farm Corporation in recent months including; i) successfully exiting VIO Medspa (structured minority) to Freeman Spogli, ii) closing a Series B for its medical aesthetics sub-HoldCo (~$200 million valuation, ~$65 million of revenue across ~16 aesthetic clinics and ~12 brands), iii) acquiring Christmas Decor (~28 year old brand/franchisor with ~$75 million in system sales across ~250 territories) via Wonder iv) acquiring Pizza Factory (~48 year old brand/franchisor with ~$94 million in system sales across ~110 restaurants) via Wonder, and v) acquiring Webster Lock and Hardware Company (~10,000 doors, ~40 trucks, ~70 years old) and capitalizing Badlands Security, its tech-enabled access-control holding company.

Scott Georgeson, Co-Founder and President of Soccer 5, stated:

“We are delighted to welcome Wonder as our partner for the next phase of Soccer 5's journey. From the very beginning, we saw eye-to-eye on values and vision. Wonder understands what makes our brand special and how important it is to the communities we serve. With Wonder's support, we can move faster to bring Soccer 5 to new markets while staying true to what's gotten us here.”

Alan Georgeson, Co-Founder and Development Director of Soccer 5, added:

“We've spent years perfecting our business model and building a strong pipeline of new sites, and we believe this partnership will best allow us to realize that vision. Wonder's track record and their investment in people gives us confidence that Soccer 5 will continue to grow in a way that benefits our players, partners, and franchisees across the country.”

The Montclair Group, LLC served as financial advisor and Lathrop GPM acted as legal counsel to Wonder Franchises and Tucker’s Farm. Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, served as financial advisor and Gunster, Yoakley, & Stewart, P.A. acted as legal counsel to Soccer 5.
