Anna Schneider Advances AI Driven Finance at Polen Capital

Anna Schneider, Senior Associate, Investment Technology, is one of the most recognized up-and-comers in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Quantitative Asset Management. She graduated from the Technical University of Munich with a degree in financial engineering and started her career in the data modeling and credit risk analysis team of a global financial institution.

In 2016, the groundbreaking development of AlphaGo sparked her interest in a more in-depth study of the potential of AI in finance. Subsequently, Anna became involved in hands-on research on the application of AI in the asset management industry. At an innovation-driven investment firm, she played a key role in developing a reinforcement learning-based asset allocation system. With her involvement, the system became one of the first German AI-enabled credit assessment processes recognized by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

Anna is convinced that “AI will not replace humans — it will enhance our judgment.”

Her current focus is on the further development of intelligent trading and investment systems. With her deep expertise and modeling experience, she supports investors worldwide by integrating intelligent trading systems into portfolio strategies.
