Bridge2Trades Enters Second Year, Expanding Career Pathways for Youth in the Construction Industry

BOSTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / July 10, 2025 / Bridge2Trades (B2T) is the groundbreaking workforce development initiative co-founded by former New England Patriots captain Deatrich Wise Jr. Today, Taisha Crayton, B2T Director, announced in partnership with NEI General Contracting, the launch of its second year of programming. Building on the success of its inaugural cohort, B2T continues to provide hands-on training, industry exposure, and career-building opportunities for young people interested in high-demand construction trades.

Held at the WORC² Center  in Boston, the 2025 program kicked off on July 7 th, with a new class of students eager to explore careers in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and more. Over six weeks, students will receive essential safety certifications including OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR, and Narcan administration. Participants will also gain exposure to modern construction technologies such as drone operation, Building Information Modeling (BIM), plan reading, and project management fundamentals.
