Vince Morales, mindset, self-image, resilience coach, and leadership consultant was recently selected as Top Consultant and Coach of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. All Honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.
With over three decades of experience, Mr. Morales is the Founder of Validus Coaching & Consulting,where he specializes in mindset, self-image, and resilience coaching. More mastered disciplines include leadership consultation and development. Vinces’ powerful story has been featured in online articles and online news outlets all over the U.S. From April 2016 to June 2017, Vince was a homeless veteran in San Diego, CA. During this homeless time, he made a powerful decision to change his thinking and mindset by launching into life coaching. He developed a niche for resilience and mindset coaching while still homeless. While still homeless, he leveraged local coffee shops to coach his clients. Some clients affectionately called him “the homeless life coach.” The growth of his business ultimately led to the end of his homelessness. He is a certified Maxwell Leadership (John C. Maxwell) Coach, Trainer, & Speaker as well as a motivational speaker.
In addition, Mr. Morales serves as the Lead Employment Navigator for transitioning service personnel and holds the position of Regional Administrative Supervisor at Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC). His journey is a fusion of diverse expertise, and he is here to ignite the potential of individuals and professionals.
Prior to his career, Mr. Morales studied Criminal Justice at Grays Harbor College from 1996-1998. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Mr. Morales then furthered his skills and found his niche in coaching. He earned a Master Certified Professional Coach (Life Coaching) from the Certified Life Coach Institute in 2022. In 2018, Vince became a Certified Coach, Trainer and Speaker, as well as certified in Maxwell DISC Method Behavioral Analysis from Maxwell Leadership. That same year, he became an Integrative NLP Practitioner from the Empowerment Partnership in 2018. To continue in his quest of knowledge, Vince earned his Master’s degree from Penn State University in 2021 studying the Psychology of Leadership and is completing his second Master’s degree in Executive Coaching and Consulting from Concordia University-Irvine where he will graduate in 2024.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Morales has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for his accomplishments. He was honored by Success Magazine as a 'Success 125' Honoree, a testament to his impact as a coach, thought leader, and influencer in the United States. He was a Forbes coach in 2019 and 2020. Brainz Magazine also celebrated Mr. Morales as a 2021 Brainz 500 Global honoree. This year, he will be considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. He will be honored at IAOTP's annual awards gala at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville this December for his selection as Top Coach and Consultant of the Year.

Looking back, Mr. Morales attributes his success to his perseverance, adaptability, taking personal responsibility, work ethic and mentors he had along the way. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. In the future, he hopes to mentor, inspire and influence those getting into the field.
