JetBlue outbids Frontier in unsolicited offer to buy Spirit Airlines, one of the largest carriers at PIT

The bid comes after Frontier and Spirit already agreed to a multibillion-dollar deal. All three carriers have a presence at Pittsburgh International Airport, with Spirit consistently ranking among the top five carriers each month by total passenger volume locally.
