Visualping Expands API Access for All Users Across Every Plan
Visualping, the world's leading website change detection platform used by teams at 85% of Fortune 500 companies, has announced that its API is now available to all subscribers, not just Business plan users.

VANCOUVER, B.C. - April 16, 2026 - Visualping, the world's leading website change detection platform used by teams at 85% of Fortune 500 companies, has expanded API acess to all users, including free and Personal plan users. Now, any Visualping user can generate API keys and start building integrations using Visualping's web change data.

When Visualping launched self-serve API key management earlier in April 2026, it was exclusive to Business plan subscribers. Now, individual users and teams on any plan can tap into the same developer tools, no upgrade required.

Any Visualping user can navigate to Account Settings → Developer to create a working API key in under a minute. As before, each key is configurable with a label, a scope (organization-wide or a single workspace), an access level (read-only or read-write), and an expiration window ranging from 30 days to no expiration. Keys are shown once on creation and can be revoked or replaced at any time.

"We built self-serve API keys so developers didn't have to wait on a support ticket to get started," said Serge Salager, CEO of Visualping. "Opening the API to every user takes that a step further. Whether you're an individual researcher tracking regulatory changes or a small team feeding competitor data into your own tools, you now have the same programmatic access as our largest enterprise customers."

Visualping's API allows developers to retrieve change detection data, create new alerts, and route web change data into external systems. Common use cases include connecting competitor pricing change data into internal sales tools, feeding regulatory page updates into compliance dashboards, aggregating monitored changes into custom reporting pipelines, and pushing website defacement or regression alerts into incident management platforms.

The open API access also pairs with Visualping's Claude skill, available free on GitHub, which lets users interact with Visualping through natural language prompts. Users can ask Claude to set up a monitor, pull recent changes, or pause a job, and Claude handles the API calls automatically. The skill works out of the box in Claude Code and Cowork and is available at github.com/webmonitoring/visualping-api-skill.

API access is now available to all Visualping users immediately.
