UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 30, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Kristyn M. Huffman as an industry leader for her success as a paralegal. With two decades of professional experience, Ms. Huffman has built a distinguished career by managing non-disclosure agreements in Europe and the United States. Now a senior paralegal at Celanese Corporation in Pasadena, Texas, she remains determined to excel in the upcoming years.

Early Career and Education
Early in her career, Ms. Huffman worked through a cooperative program at the Law Office of Steve Wilsey in Lake Jackson, Texas. Also during this time, she pursued an associate degree in business administration and management at Brazosport College, which she completed in 2009. The year prior, she joined The Dow Chemical Company as a senior administrative assistant.
Refining Expertise at The Dow Chemical Company
At The Dow Chemical Company, Ms. Huffman discovered a passion for intellectual property law, finding that she enjoyed drafting agreements and handling paralegal tasks. With her career aspirations solidified, she spent the next nine years refining her skill set. As a result, she became a paralegal at Dow, focusing on intellectual property law, patent applications, obtaining approval for license agreements and developing confidentiality agreements.
During her tenure at Dow, Ms. Huffman continued her educational journey, completing a bachelor's degree in legal studies at the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2016. By 2023, she learned that Celanese Corporation needed a paralegal to handle agreements between European and U.S. regions, so she applied for the position and joined the company. Within the year, she was appointed as a senior paralegal.
Creating Change
Ms. Huffman is currently responsible for handling all nondisclosure agreements made across Celanese Corporation's businesses in the U.S. and Europe. Though these responsibilities can be challenging, her love for the work, as well as the support of her late husband and family, is sufficient to drive her to excel.
For those aspiring to work in the industry, especially for young women, Ms. Huffman advocates for the importance of speaking up for oneself. One of her first mentors gave her this advice, whether fighting for the pay she deserved or the responsibilities she wanted. She also emphasizes the importance of maintaining good communication with leaders to find mutual success.
Hobbies and Past Civic Involvement
Outside of her professional career, Ms. Huffman enjoys a range of hobbies and civic involvement. From 2012 to 2023, she sang as a "Dow Caroler" at the Brazoria County Fair and for surrounding nursing homes. Additionally, Ms. Huffman enjoys reading, spending time with her daughter, playing with her dogs and talking with her sisters every day.
Plans for the Future
Looking forward to the next five years, Ms. Huffman aspires to become a leader in her field as her company continues to grow. She has recognized growth in Celanese Corporation and feels her role will help the company to follow through. Though her work is done behind the scenes, she is proud that entire operations depend on her contributions.
