Bosch buying Roseville's TSI Semiconductors, planning $1.5 billion investment in chip manufacturing plant

The silicon carbide semiconductors that Bosch plans to make in Roseville are able to operate at higher voltages, frequencies and temperatures than regular silicon wafer chips, making them ideal for electric vehicles.
