Stratton earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in May 2007. Prior to earning his J.D., he obtained his MBA from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and Overland Park, Kansas. Stratton also has a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a Marketing minor, from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He is licensed and is ready to help clients in the State of Oklahoma.

Before joining the Oklahoma City family law attorneys at Stange Law Firm, PC, Stratton worked as a solo practitioner since 2008. At his own firm he oversaw client cases from initial intake to the resolution of the case, including researching legal issues, drafting pleadings, depositions, motion docket hearings, and trials. Stratton represented family law clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, DHS, and guardianship. He also represented business clients with contract issues and has negotiated settlements for clients injured in accidents and property liability incidents, while also managing his firm's non-legal affairs including billing, marketing, and accounting. Before this, Stratton also spent three years working as a Volunteer Attorney for Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma.
