Webinar explores strategies for reclaiming time, energy and purpose in a digitally demanding world
University of Phoenix presents the next webinar in its Bridging Perspectives series, “Digital Burnout: Balance in a Hyperconnected World,” on Thursday, October 16, at noon MDT. The series is presented by presented by the Office of Collaborative Learning and Educational Engagement and is designed for higher education leaders, employers, nonprofit organizations and University of Phoenix faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
As increased technology use continues, many individuals report experiencing increased digital fatigue, diminished focus and a sense of declining well-being. Gallup’s 2025 State of the Global Workplace warns that a state of constant connectivity contributes to record-low engagement and rising burnout at work.
“Digital wellness is an increasingly important part of how we manage our time, energy and focus,” said Saray Lopez, MBA, director of strategic initiatives for University of Phoenix. “This webinar invites participants to reflect on the effects of constant connectivity and explore practical strategies for restoring balance, focus and overall well-being.”
The webinar, featuring University of Phoenix College of Social Science Faculty Dr. Danette Berksteiner, will offer practical strategies for reclaiming time, energy and purpose through intentional digital boundaries and sustainable wellness practices.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Establish digital boundaries with intention and confidence
- Incorporate tools such as micro-breaks, focus blocks and humane notification settings
- Manage tech fatigue and rebalance screen time with mindful presence
Whether navigating remote work, hybrid demands or seeking a greater sense of peace and clarity in a digitally demanding world, participants will find space to reset, reconnect and reimagine what wellness can look like.
The Bridging Perspectives webinar series aims to foster cultural awareness about timely issues, impactful thought leadership, and community alliances.
