About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Shincheonji Uganda Church Event Participants Take Public Exam on Revelation

100 Pastors and 100 Members Put Their Faith to the Test

NEW YORK, NY, October 13, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- An event testing participants on their knowledge of the Bible's Book of Revelation was hosted by the Thomas Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.

A total of 200 people took part in the public Bible exam held at the Global Hotel in Kampala, Uganda, including 100 Shincheonji Church members and 100 local pastors. The 2-hour test included 100 questions.

"This test was not about competition," said the Shincheonji Uganda Church. "As Chairman Lee Man-hee proposed, it was designed to distinguish orthodoxy from heresy based on the words of Revelation."

Shincheonji Church Chairman Lee has often said that, "the Book of Revelation should be the standard of faith, and based on Revelation 22:18–19, tests like this help discern true doctrine from false."

One pastor who took the Bible exam said, "I've always considered Revelation to be a compass for faith, but I'm ashamed that I never properly learned it. I'll study again to better understand prophecy and fulfillment."

A Shincheonji Church member noted, "Unlike Shincheonji members, many pastors found the questions difficult and couldn't answer according to scripture. Now that even ordinary believers like me can easily understand Revelation, I hope this knowledge will spread and bring change throughout Uganda's Christian community."

Seven churches hoping to collaborate with the Shincheonji Uganda Church signed MOUs after the Bible test was completed. The church also notes that a number of denominations have recently decided to officially affiliate themselves with Shincheonji Church.

"Knowing the reality of Revelation is the first step to leading believers in truth," said a representative of the Shincheonji Uganda Church. "We hope more pastors will learn the Word and grow together."

Shincheonji Uganda Church has grown exponentially since it opened in 2015 with 27 members. Today, the church has over 8,400 members.
