About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Shincheonji Tanzania Church Holds Revelation Bible Exam

Participants Include 98 Local Pastors

NEW YORK, NY, August 30, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, held a Bible exam on the Book of Revelation on August 18th in major cities in Tanzania, including Dar es Salaam. A total of 138 participants gathered for the test, including 40 Shincheonji Church members and 98 local Protestant pastors.

The exam consisted of 10 main questions and 33 sub-questions, all centered around the Book of Revelation.

The exam results showed major differences in average scores between the two groups. Shincheonji Church members averaged 95 points on the exam, while Protestant pastors averaged just 7 points. The purpose of the exam was not to determine superiority, but to provide an opportunity for each person to examine their faith and draw closer to God.

"Watching Shincheonji members confidently write down the correct answers today made me reflect on my own faith and my calling as a pastor," said one pastor. "From now on, I will study Revelation through the Shincheonji Zion Christian Mission Center, guide my church members to God's path, and properly teach them so that they may enter heaven."

Shincheonji Church of Jesus Chairman Lee Man-hee has long emphasized Revelation 22:18–19, stating, "To enter heaven, one must not add to or subtract from the words of Revelation but must fully understand and keep them."

Chairman Lee has also continually stressed that, "The standard for discerning truth from falsehood, orthodoxy from heresy, is not human tradition or doctrine, but solely the word of the Bible."

Shincheonji Church also held a Bible exam in Korea in 2024. At that time, out of 313 total participants, only one church pastor joined.

"This Bible exam is not just about testing knowledge, but about confirming whether one's faith is truly based on the word of God," said a Shincheonji Church representative. "We are thankful that pastors at home and abroad are gradually participating. We hope more churches and believers will continue to unite through Bible-centered fellowship."

Since its establishment in 2018, Shincheonji Tanzania Church has continued to grow. As of August 2025, the church has a total of 2,440 members and is striving to spread Bible-centered faith through fellowship with local pastors.
