Since 2004, Fifth Third Bank has been a leader in the delivery of financial empowerment programming. The Fifth Third Finance Academy, powered by Everfi, is the Bank’s financial education and entrepreneurship course for high school students. In addition to the online courses, the Bank also distributes scholarships to deserving students for higher education. Te’Anya McKinstry of Cincinnati was one such scholarship recipient in 2019.
