About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

EVIO Inc. performs Full Compliance Testing for California as Steep Hill, CA

HENDERSON, NV / ACCESSWIRE / April 21, 2021 / EVIO Inc. (the "Company" or "EVIO") (OTC PINK:EVIO), is excited to announce the launch of full compliance cannabis testing in conjunction with our subsidiary, C3 Labs, LLC dba Steep Hill CA.

In September 2020, C3 Labs, LLC merged lab operations with Steep Hill CA to operate in its new 35,200 square foot laboratory at 2448 6th St. Berkeley, CA. Steep Hill CA was founded as the nation's first cannabis testing laboratory in 2008. Now the combined laboratory serves as one of the largest square foot and total capacity cannabis testing labs globally and applies best practices from both the EVIO and Steep Hill family of laboratories. The lab is licensed with the California Bureau of Cannabis Control and accredited to ISO 17025 standards.

All cannabis products sold in licensed dispensaries in California must be tested by a licensed laboratory such as Steep Hill CA. The state of California has over 1,000 active licensed cannabis distributors that distribute products to licensed retailers statewide. The combined laboratory is fully equipped to provide the testing services required to distribute cannabis products to licenced dispensaries.

The merger of the two laboratories provides additional redundant lab instrumentation needed for high-capacity testing with fast turnaround times. This aids to provide a competitive advantage in the California marketplace, in which many labs lack redundancy.

Continued Hemp Initiatives

The laboratory is also the new center for www.hemptesting.com, which performs testing for CBD and hemp derived products for clients worldwide. The lab performs both potency testing and safety testing to detect the presence of harmful contaminants such as pesticides, heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and residual solvents. The Hemp and CBD Safety Panel test focuses on providing manufacturers and distributors a comprehensive suite of tests that gives clients the utmost confidence in the purity and potency of their products. The company anticipates both hemp and CBD trends to continue, further expanding EVIO's market position.

About EVIO Inc.

EVIO maintains licensed and accredited cannabis, CBD, and hemp full-service testing laboratory operations, and provides clients with quality analytical, R&D, and consulting services to produce the best, compliant products.
