About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Hyperbound Raises $15 Million Series A to Make Sales Coaching Scalable with AI Sales Roleplays

SAN FRANCISCO, CA / ACCESS Newswire / September 16, 2025 / Hyperbound, whose customers include Autodesk, Monday.com, Bloomberg, G2, Vanta, Airwallex, and Hub International, today announced a $15 million Series A led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Y Combinator, Snowflake Ventures, Roble Ventures, and Fellows Fund.

The funding follows two consecutive months of adding more than $1 million in new ARR. Before even signing the term sheet, Hyperbound had already hit its ambitious end-of-year projections cementing its place as one of the fastest growing companies in sales technology.

Hyperbound pioneered AI sales roleplays when it launched in January 2024, creating the first scalable practice arena for sales teams. In less than two years, the company has expanded its platform to include real call scoring, custom AI scorecards, and learning modules, enabling organizations to continuously coach every member of the revenue team. Customers span industries from SaaS and financial services to logistics and staffing, and Hyperbound partners with deployment firms like Force Management and Reveneer to drive large-scale rollouts.

"The future of sales will be reimagined with voice and video avatar AI, and Hyperbound is at the forefront. Sales reps love using the platform to close faster and improve productivity - the product is a 10x leap over the status quo. Atul and Sriharsha are ambitious, strong product builders, and we're excited to back them as they redefine this space." - Arnav Sahu, Partner, Peak XV Partners.

Founded by longtime friends Sriharsha Guduguntla and Atul Raghunathan, Hyperbound combines deep expertise in AI and enterprise software. Atul, previously at Meta Ads, worked on machine learning models that defined ideal market profiles for billions of ads each day. Sriharsha, from Salesforce, contributed to the conversational AI systems behind Salesforce Einstein. Together, they saw the opportunity to bring the same level of practice and preparation to sales that other professions already rely on.

"How do we help large sales teams go into every conversation as confident and prepared as other professions?" said Sriharsha. "Sales teams should be able to coach in real time without having to spend countless hours analyzing calls and roleplaying with their managers." Atul added, "That was our original vision for Hyperbound."

Since launch, Hyperbound has expanded usage across SDR, AE, account management, and customer success teams. The platform now supports over 25 languages and recently introduced multiparty AI sales roleplays, allowing reps to practice complex calls with multiple buyer personas.

"Hyperbound is transforming how sales organizations train their teams and make sales coaching scalable with AI," said Harsha Kapre, Director, Snowflake Ventures. "We are excited to invest in Hyperbound and add the power of Snowflake Cortex AI to help sales professionals create better experiences and interactions with their customers."

Hyperbound has now raised a total of $18.3 million. More information, including free access to AI sales roleplays, is available on Hyperbound's website.
