Saint Therese to Host First Golf Tournament, the Woods Classic, in Avon

New senior living provider builds community ties in Greater Avon/Westlake

AVON, OH / ACCESS Newswire / September 9, 2025 / Saint Therese will host its first golf tournament in Greater Avon-Westlake on Monday, Sept. 29 at Red Tail Golf Club in Avon. The Woods Classic event helps introduce Saint Therese to the community following its recent acquisition of St. Mary of the Woods in Avon and Saint Therese of Westlake (formerly The Belvedere).

"We're still the new neighbors in Avon and Westlake, and the Woods Classic is our way to say hello-showing up, pitching in, and demonstrating our commitment to serving older adults with extraordinary care," said Michael Helco, executive director, Saint Therese - St. Mary of the Woods.

Just five miles apart, the two communities offer a full continuum of care - independent living, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing - so residents can remain within the Saint Therese family as needs change.
