Funnel Leasing, the renter-centric leasing platform, today announced the hiring of Stephany Mesa, a proptech veteran and product specialist, as Chief of Staff. With her 11 years of experience in multifamily and real estate, Mesa will lead Funnel’s people ops, including staff and culture, a new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) group, the Women of Funnel Group, scaling the non-profit 501c(3) H.O.M.E. initiative and will drive strategic alignment within the leadership team to reflect Funnel’s core values inside and outside the company. She will also drive new initiatives, including a new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) group, adding employment engagement platforms, and leveraging professional development tools to increase employee satisfaction and overall retention.

From working as a Leasing Consultant at Alliance Residential to advancing to an active Product Manager at ResMan LLC., she helped concept, build, and test the very systems agents use everyday. In her role as a product professional, she was given the opportunity to solve real problems and to develop real solutions that would generate measurable impact. Now, with the experience of launching several new products into the space, she is focused on putting her industry knowledge and passion for people into action by working with Funnel’s dynamic teams.
