The Standard Receives 2021 PLANSPONSOR Service Star Team Award

Company is honored for exemplary service for third consecutive year

Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) has received the esteemed PLANSPONSOR 2021 Service Star Team Award for exemplary service. The Service Star Awards recognize industry leaders from the retirement plan provider community who, in the words of their plan sponsor clients, have demonstrated excellence in a range of service areas. Only five individuals and five teams out of the 716 industry nominees were selected for this year’s Service Star Awards.

D. Nicholas Lenzi, implementation manager, and Dara Duane, relationship manager, were nominated for their partnership in handling a seamless plan conversion from a previous recordkeeper to The Standard during a simultaneous payroll conversion. Nicholas Lenzi has been with The Standard for 27 years, having held a variety of related roles within the company. Dara Duane has more than 20 years of industry experience.

Employees from The Standard have a history of receiving this honor. In 2020, Account Manager Kyle Krueger received the Service Star Individual Award. In 2019, Relationship Manager David Parker was recognized with an Individual Award and in 2016, Relationship Manager Natalie Gentry and Account Manager Mike Shoemake were also recognized with a Team Award.
