Fintech Vet Wes Schmidt Joins Alviere as Chief Revenue Officer to Lead Global Expansion

Former Refinitiv, Thomson Reuters Exec Joins Alviere as the Company Continues to Build Momentum in the Adoption of its Embedded Financial Services by Major Brands Worldwide, Especially in Europe and Latin America

A fintech industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience managing relationships and leading the teams responsible for the world’s most systemically influential financial institutions, Mr. Schmidt will be tasked with building out Alviere’s global sales organization.

Previously, Mr. Schmidt led strategic accounts for Thomson Reuters Americas, where he was responsible for all financial and risk products and solutions. Mr. Schmidt also held a variety of positions building and developing high-performing global sales teams in EMEA and APAC. His most recent role was as Group Global Head of Strategic Accounts at Refinitiv, a London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) business, where he managed the team responsible for all data and analytics, capital markets and post-trade solutions.
