Media Advisory: Five Banks Join FHLB Dallas to Award More Than $36K to Jackson Nonprofit

***1:30 p.m. Monday, September 26, 3405 Medgar Evers Blvd, Jackson, MS, 39213***

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and five member institutions will award $36,500 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) matching-grant funding to Housing Education and Economic Development (HEED). The funds will be awarded during a ceremonial check presentation on Monday, September 26 at HEED’s offices in Jackson. The media is encouraged to attend.

FHLB Dallas awarded the funding in conjunction with Trustmark National Bank, Cadence Bank, Origin Bank, BankPlus and Community Bank of Mississippi.

PGP awards provide 3:1 matches of member contributions to provide grants up to $12,000 per member to help promote and strengthen relationships between CBOs and FHLB Dallas members. The PGP also compliments the development activities fostered by FHLB Dallas’ Affordable Housing and Community Investment programs.
