University of Phoenix Vice Provost Doris Savron Appointed to Career Connectors Board of Directors

Savron brings expertise in academia, healthcare and information technology to the role

University of Phoenix is pleased to announce the appointment of Doris Savron, vice provost, to the Career Connectors Board of Directors. In this role, Savron will be supporting the Career Connectors organization’s mission of empowering career seekers and organizations to succeed by connecting them with deep market insights and high-caliber coaching. Savron is one of four new members recently appointed to the Career Connectors board.

“I’m excited to work alongside very talented board members who are passionate about supporting job seekers,” shares Savron. “The organization’s mission sits at the nexus of workforce development and higher education, and I’m proud to be a part of it. Whether empowering job seekers with timely and relevant information, providing networking opportunities, or offering career coaching, the desired outcome is the same: to help job seekers leverage their skills and help employers find the talent they need.”

Career Connectors is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building a better community – one organization, one career at a time. Savron's career spans 30 years in healthcare, information technology and academia. In her role as Vice Provost, she oversees strategy for degree, certificate and course offerings, design of curriculum and student learning outcomes for the University. She works collaboratively with her team members to innovate academic solutions that enable the University to provide exceptional student experiences and learning environments to support student success.
