Gene Todd Named President; Craig S. Richards Takes on COO Role; and Leslie Gillin Bohner Adds General Trust Counsel Title

Fiduciary Trust International, a global wealth manager and wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, announces that Gene Todd has been appointed president in addition to his role as head of regional markets.

The firm also has expanded the roles of the following members of its leadership team:

Leslie Gillin Bohner has been appointed general trust counsel in addition to her role as chief fiduciary officer.
Craig S. Richards, CPA/PFS, CFP®, has been appointed chief operating officer in addition to his role as chief administrative officer and head of tax.

Mr. Todd joined Fiduciary Trust International in January 2020, and was elevated to head of regional markets in November 2021. Going forward, Mr. Todd will continue to lead teams across the firm’s regional offices along with developing and implementing strategies to grow the firm’s market share, revenue and profitability. Mr. Todd also serves on Fiduciary Trust International’s operating, management, and executive committees, and on the management committee of the parent company, Franklin Templeton. He also serves as head of sales for the firm and will continue to work out of Fiduciary Trust International’s office in San Mateo, CA.

Ms. Bohner will continue to oversee all trust and estate operations and administration, as well as lead the firm’s Delaware business. Ms. Bohner joined Fiduciary Trust International in 2020 as a result of the firm’s acquisition of Pennsylvania Trust Company and has been a vital leader in strengthening fiduciary standards and practices across the firm.

Mr. Richards will continue to manage the coordination of Fiduciary Trust International’s delivery of sophisticated wealth management services to its clients. Mr. Richards joined the firm in 1984 and has been a key player in enhancing infrastructure and capabilities throughout the organization.
