Credit Industry Specialist Federico Persico Joins Littlejohn & Co. as Head of Capital Formation

Littlejohn & Co. LLC (“Littlejohn”), a private investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, today announced that Federico Persico, a credit industry specialist with more than 15 years of investing, business development, and investor relations experience, has joined the firm as Head of Capital Formation. In this new role, Mr. Persico will oversee fundraising and business development for the firm’s opportunistic credit and special situations strategies.

“Federico is a dynamic business development executive with a deep network of global investment management relationships and a proven track record of raising capital across strategies and market cycles. Most recently, Mr. Persico served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development and Investor Relations for Briarwood Chase Management, LLC, where he was responsible for leading the operations team and overseeing the firm’s business development efforts. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Tilden Park Capital Management LP, where the firm’s AUM grew from $1 billion to approximately $5 billion during his tenure. Earlier in his career he worked as an investment analyst and member of the portfolio management team at GCM Grosvenor and began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Mr. Persico earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Emory University.
