Dan Wahlin Hired as SVP, Commercial Team Lead for Westside Portland Office

Summit Bank is happy to announce the addition of Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead, Dan Wahlin, to our Westside Portland office. Wahlin is a longtime Beaverton resident and veteran community banker. With almost 40 years of experience in the industry he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Wahlin spent the majority of his career working in leadership positions with Oregon-based community banks. During his last tenure, he was responsible for managing a team of over 20 commercial bankers. He has a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and is an active member of the community.

Dan attended Portland State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Accounting. He is also an alumni of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. An active volunteer in the Portland community, he has served on various local boards and committees including: Finance committee for Community Action of Washington County, Chairman of Habitat for Humanity, and the Pilgrim Lutheran School Board, where he served as chairman for 6 years.

As Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead, Wahlin is responsible for leading our commercial banking team in the Westside Portland area. He will be instrumental in taking care of our clients, growing Summit’s relationships and providing guidance and support to our team.
