First Trust Dynamic Europe Equity Income Fund Announces Results of Annual Shareholder Meeting: Election of Trustees of the Fund

First Trust Dynamic Europe Equity Income Fund (the “Fund”) announced today that, based on voting results, shareholders of the Fund voted at the annual meeting of shareholders to elect Denise M. Keefe and Robert F. Keith as Trustees of the Fund.

The Fund’s shareholders voted at the meeting to elect each of Ms. Keefe and Mr. Keith as a Class I Trustee to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fund for a three-year term, expiring at the Fund’s 2026 annual meeting of shareholders. James A. Bowen, Niel B. Nielson, Richard E. Erickson and Thomas R. Kadlec are current and continuing Trustees of the Fund.

Additionally, as previously announced on March 22, 2023, the Board of Trustees of the Fund has approved the reorganization of the Fund into a to-be created exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) that will be an actively managed ETF managed by First Trust Advisors L.P. (“FTA”) and sub-advised by Janus Henderson Investors, the Fund’s current sub-advisor. It is currently expected that the transaction will be consummated during 2023, subject to requisite shareholder approval and satisfaction of other regulatory requirements and customary closing conditions. More information on the proposed transaction will be communicated in registration statement/proxy materials that will be filed with the SEC in the coming weeks.
