Triton Digital Releases the August 2023 Canada Podcast Ranker

Triton Digital®, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the latest Canada Podcast Ranker for the August 2023 reporting period (July 31, 2023 – September 3, 2023), as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service. The month of August had 14.1M average weekly downloads.

For this reporting period, the top three Canada originated French-language podcasts included Sexe Oral (TPX Podcast Network) again at #1, Le Radiojournal (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #2, and Les chroniques de Pierre-Yves McSween (Cogeco Media) climbing to #3.

The top three Canada originated English-language podcasts included Front Burner (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #1, The World This Hour (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #2, and World Report (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #3.

Yet again, the top ranked podcast overall was Dateline NBC (NBCUniversal News Group). SiriusXM Podcast Network earned the #1 spot again on the Top Networks Report with 4.26M Average Weekly Downloads, followed by Wondery Network again at #2 with 3.03M Average Weekly Downloads, and CBC/Radio-Canada again at #3 with 1.93M Average Weekly Downloads.

The top ranked podcasts had three debuts including Over My Dead Body (Wondery Network), Watch What Crappens (Wondery Network), and The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell (NBCUniversal News Group). Patrick Lagacé en accéléré (Cogeco Media) debuted for the originated French-language list.
