The event, held in Amelia Island, Florida, celebrates the exceptional achievements of property and casualty (P&C) organizations across categories such as claims, automation, data and analytics, digital experience and other key areas of industry innovation and service.

Founded in 2015, Across America is a specialized wholesale insurance brokerage, serving the commercial trucking and transportation industry. Across America encountered and overcame common challenges in claims operations, including high loss ratios, escalating attorney expenses, undefined processes, and difficulties accessing critical data buried within notes and external documents.

In response to industry challenges, Across America brought their claims operations in-house and using Insurity’s MGA platform, redesigned every aspect of their claims processes from the ground up. This involved capturing and analyzing data at every level, automating workflows, and implementing clearly defined processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the claims lifecycle. Such efforts enabled the Across America claims team to gain complete visibility into the status and performance of claims, empowering them to manage their book of business more effectively.

The organization yielded significant cost savings and operational efficiencies across the organization due to their efforts and use of Insurity’s MGA platform. Across America significantly increased its bodily injury claim closure rates within the first 30 days of implementing changes, reduced average attorney expenses per claim by 92%, and lowered the average incurred costs for claims by 70%. These improvements have not only driven operational efficiency but have also contributed to better financial outcomes and higher satisfaction for policyholders.
