Kevin Davis Joins XA Investments as Head of Sales & Distribution

Focus on Distributing XAI’s Alternative Investment Funds

XA Investments LLC (“XAI”), a Chicago-based alternative investment management and consulting firm, today announced that Kevin Davis, CFP®, has joined XAI as a Managing Director and Head of Sales & Distribution. Mr. Davis brings a wealth of alternative investment expertise to bear in leading XAI’s distribution efforts in the interval fund and closed-end fund marketplace.

Mr. Davis has more than 25 years of experience in the investment management industry, with a focus on sales and distribution during that entire period. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President and Client Strategist for BNY Mellon, where he led a team of specialists to support family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Prior to that, Mr. Davis was a Vice President for Fidelity’s family office services division, working again with family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Mr. Davis has also held various sales management roles at Salient Partners and Sun Life.

In his leadership role, Mr. Davis will work to distribute XAI’s most recently launched interval fund, the Octagon XAI CLO Income Fund (OCTIX), along with developing a team to support sales of future funds sponsored by XAI. The firm also manages a listed closed-end fund, XAI Octagon Floating Rate & Alternative Trust (NYSE: XFLT). XFLT had $679 in total managed assets as of May 31, 2024.

Mr. Davis earned his BA in Communications and Business Administration from Trinity University. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Kevin lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and 2 children.
