Vialto Partners Appoints Darren Smith as Global Equity and Reward Practice Lead

Leader in global equity and workplace benefits brings experience helping multinational companies navigate global compliance, tax, and mobility

Vialto Partners, a global leader in workforce mobility, tax, and immigration solutions, today announced the appointment of Darren Smith as Global Equity and Reward practice lead. He will oversee all aspects of Vialto’s Global Equity and Reward service offering and report directly to Mike Branca, Vialto’s co-CEO for the Americas region.

Smith joins Vialto from Morgan Stanley, where he was Head of Global Advanced Solutions and Global Intelligence. There, he delivered solutions for complex issues related to workplace benefits, including tax, mobility, global compliance, and employee education.

Before Morgan Stanley, Smith served as a leader in several international companies and as a Professor of Finance. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Alberta, and a master's degree in finance and strategic management.
