Reliable, High-Speed Internet from Xfinity Coming to More Than 7,500 Additional Homes and Businesses in Teays Valley, WV

Residents in Hurricane and Scott Depot Will Be Connected to America’s Smartest Converged WiFi Network

Comcast is connecting more than 7,500 new homes and businesses in the Teays Valley, WV area to high-speed, symmetrical Internet from America’s smartest and most reliable converged network. Xfinity brings Internet, mobile, entertainment, and smart home services into one simple, seamless solution – giving customers more speed, savings, and control over their connected lives.

This expansion includes the following areas of Teays Valley:

  • Hurricane, WV, where construction is underway to connect more than 5,000 homes and businesses, and the first addresses will be serviceable in early 2026.
  • Scott Depot, WV, where construction is underway to connect more than 2,500 homes and businesses, and services are already available to some residents.

Residents can visit Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses for additional details on construction timing and upcoming service availability. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2028.

Comcast continues to expand its network across West Virginia. In addition to Hurricane and Scott Depot, construction is underway in Princeton, WV to connect more than 5,000 homes and businesses – and services are already available to some residents.
