  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.

Travelers Institute Announces Spring 2025 Wednesdays with Woodward® Webinar Schedule

The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), today announced its Wednesdays with Woodward spring webinar schedule. The virtual series, hosted by Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, features thought leaders from the public and private sectors discussing relevant topics at the intersection of insurance, business and public policy.

“Our spring lineup is set to be one of our best yet, with a behind-the-scenes look at Travelers’ Claim University, a livestream from the New York Stock Exchange, a best-selling author on the topic of sleep and much more,” said Woodward. “Over the past five years, Wednesdays with Woodward has served as a resource for impactful and relevant discussions, welcoming a roster of leading experts sharing their insights with viewers across industries, and we’re looking forward to another engaging season.”

  • Feb. 26: “Live from Claim University: Behind the Scenes at Travelers’ Flagship Educational Hub” – Erika Fleig, Vice President of Learning & Effectiveness, Claim at Travelers, and Lamelle Williams, Senior Learning Facilitator, Claim University at Travelers, will take Woodward on an exclusive tour of Travelers’ 200,000-square-foot Claim University, including its heavy equipment lab, auto lab, property lab and medical lab.
  • March 12: “Unlocking Your Potential: Lessons in Leadership and Influence” – Laura Cox Kaplan, host of the weekly podcast “She Said/She Said,” will join the Travelers Institute for Women’s History Month and share lessons she’s learned throughout her career interviewing entrepreneurs, C-suiters and more.
  • March 19: “How Did You Sleep Last Night? Understanding the Fascinating Science of Sleep” – Dr. Matt Walker, Professor of Neuroscience at UC Berkeley and author of “Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams,” will share how sleep impacts productivity and overall health.
  • April 7: “Forces at Work℠ Symposium” – Livestreamed from the Board Room of the New York Stock Exchange from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET, this special event will explore evolving workforce dynamics with sessions on employee mental health and today’s labor market. A keynote address will be delivered by Jerome M. Adams, M.D., MPH, FASA, 20th U.S. Surgeon General and Executive Director, Health Equity Initiatives at the Center for Community Health Enhancement and Learning at Purdue University.
  • April 30: “Enhancing Cybersecurity Through Strategic Partnerships” – Pete Herron, Senior Vice President, Management Liability at Travelers, and Madhu Tadikonda, former CEO of Corvus and Head of the Specialty Cyber Business Unit at Travelers, will discuss Travelers’ acquisition of Corvus, an industry-leading cyber insurance managing general underwriter, and how it benefits Travelers’ agents, brokers and customers.
  • May 7: “A Journey with Parkinson’s Disease” – AnnMarie Colapietro, Vice President, Enterprise Distribution Management & Agency at Travelers, and Dr. Toni de Marcaida, neurologist, and Medical Director of Hartford HealthCare’s David and Rhoda Chase Family Movement Disorders Center, will discuss Colapietro’s personal journey with Parkinson’s disease and its causes, symptoms and current research.
  • May 21: “Mindset for Success on the Course and in Your Career” – Dr. Mo Pickens, sports psychologist and golf coach, will examine how the important role of a positive mindset, effective framing and consistent routines can enhance performance on the golf course and drive successful outcomes in the workplace.
