Emerald Holding, Inc. Appoints Erica Bartsch as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Communications

Emerald Holding, Inc. (NYSE: EEX), a leader in building dynamic, market-driven business-to-business (B2B) events and media platforms, today announced the appointment of Erica Bartsch as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Communications, effective March 17, 2025.

In her new role, Bartsch will lead strategy, investor relations, corporate communications and strategic partnerships, working closely with Emerald’s executive team to drive alignment across key stakeholders. Her appointment comes as Emerald continues to execute on its strategy to optimize its portfolio, expand digital capabilities, and deliver innovative B2B experiences that connect businesses, buyers, and brands.

Bartsch joins Emerald from Sloane & Company, a leading strategic communications and investor relations firm, where she most recently served as Senior Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations and Capital Markets, advising companies on financial communications, corporate positioning, and reputation management. With over two decades of experience, she brings deep expertise in corporate strategy, investor relations, and special situations, leaving her well-positioned to drive Emerald’s next phase of growth.

Previously, Bartsch served as an equities research analyst for Rochdale Securities, a boutique sell-side broker dealer and worked for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in sales operations and marketing earlier in her career.

Bartsch holds an M.A. in International Relations from Boston University and a B.A. in International Affairs from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors.
