Downy announced today its partnership with Operation Warm, a nonprofit organization that provides brand-new winter coats and shoes to children in need across the country. Downy has committed to a robust program that includes a $100,000 donation to Operation Warm, in-person events and in-store programs with partners at Dollar General, and access to essential clothing that help improve children’s everyday lives.

“At Downy, we genuinely believe in bringing freshness to laundry, but we also want to give back to our communities,” said Nick Jackson, P&G Dollar General Marketing Director. “That’s why we’re excited to team up with Dollar General and Operation Warm. It’s all about making a positive impact in the lives of kids across the country."

To further support their hometowns, Downy, Dollar General, and Operation Warm will host in-person donation events at local schools in Nashville, Tennessee and Cincinnati, Ohio this spring where employee volunteers will distribute new coats, shoes, and books to students in need.
