Osaic Names Saumya Bhavsar as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel

Meta FinTech’s former head of legal and vice president will steer strategic legal direction as Osaic embraces next phase of growth and innovation

Osaic, Inc. (“Osaic”), one of the nation’s largest providers of wealth management solutions, today announced the appointment of Saumya Bhavsar as chief legal officer and general counsel. Bhavsar previously served as vice president and head of legal at Meta FinTech, the business division of Meta leading the company’s financial services initiatives. In this capacity, she oversaw a global team of product and regulatory lawyers advising on Meta's payment products and activities.

Bhavsar brings three decades of legal and regulatory expertise and senior leadership to Osaic. In addition to her aforementioned experience with Meta, she previously served as general counsel at Diem Networks, overseeing legal and regulatory matters for Meta's digital currency initiative. She also has extensive experience in wealth management, strategic transactions and regulatory compliance from her tenures as global head of regulatory affairs at Credit Suisse and managing director at UBS. Her early career experience at the Office of the Comptroller of Currency, U.S. Department of Treasury, will be instrumental in helping Osaic navigate evolving financial regulations while driving growth.
