An AHS home warranty is a one-year, renewable home warranty plan that covers selected major home systems and appliances, like heating and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigerator, water heater, and washer and dryer. Plans cover the repair and replacement costs when parts of covered systems and appliances break down due to normal wear and tear.
