Nuvve Holding Corp. Appoints Laura Huang and Brian Johnson to Board of Directors

New board members bring industry expertise in organizational transformation, mobility innovation, and strategic finance to support Nuvve’s next phase of growth

Nuvve Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: NVVE), a global leader in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and grid modernization, today announced the appointment of Laura Huang and Brian Johnson to its Board of Directors. The two bring a combined four decades of experience in academia, finance, and mobility innovation, significantly advancing the company’s strategic oversight and governance.

Laura Huang is a Distinguished Professor of Management and Organizational Development at Northeastern University and serves as Associate Dean of Executive Education. She is a recognized expert in strategic growth, risk management, and leadership under uncertainty. Her research has been honored by the National Academy of Sciences and Thinkers50, and has advised multinational companies on topics ranging from AI and global expansion to M&A and board governance. Her past roles include leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank, IBM Global Services, and Johnson & Johnson.

Brian Johnson is a former Managing Director and senior equity analyst who led U.S. Autos and Auto Parts coverage at Barclays for over a decade. He previously held senior analyst roles at Lehman Brothers and Sanford C. Bernstein, and began his career as a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised global financial institutions on M&A and digital innovation. He later served as a partner at Accenture, leading financial services strategy initiatives. Johnson holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
